Orchard Country Store to sponsor 4-H Buckle Awards!

MOORESVILLE, IN - June 5, 2008 Owners of the Orchard Country Store have volunteered to provide silver belt buckles to the Senior Showmanship winners at the 2008 Morgan County Fair. Orchard Country Store will be the sponsor of the silver belt buckle award in each of the twelve specified livestock species, as well as two equine classifications. Approximately 14 silver buckles featuring the 4-H logo emblem will be awarded at the Morgan County Fair this summer.

“We wanted to show our support for the young people participating in the local 4-H program,” said Tony Langley, one of the local owners of Orchard Country Store. “We hope these award buckles will become a treasured keepsake and a lasting reminder of the hard work and dedication it takes to raise and show these animals,” said Langley.

This sponsorship will be a significant addition to the Morgan County 4-H awards program and will give the participants even more incentive to continue working with their 4-H project animals. The Showmanship Award is especially important because it is based on the member’s knowledge and their ability to present their animal.
